Firefighters hit with sewage while fighting fire

Port Macquarie 2444 The Rural Fire Service has launched an investigation into an incident where a helicopter dumped sewage on firefighters near Port Macquarie on the mid-north coast.The water-bombing chopper scooped sewage out of a treatment pool near Kew while firefighting last week.The RFS regional fire controller Cam Baker says firefighters were drenched with the contaminated water.He says it affected about 30 volunteers and State Forest fir...
